Magical Mystery Tour at Toix

The team did an awful lot of climbing today and today's surroundings were fairly striking too, but not in the same peaceful way as yesterday's. Dom, Andrew, Euan and Callum climbed with Richard and worked on climbing technique and movement. Euan and Andrew did their hardest outdoor climbs to date. Meanwhile, Douglas, Melissa and I went on a great route called 'Magical Mystery Tour'. And it was.

For some reason the order of the pics isn't loading according to plan. For the moment, here are some of todays snaps.

Tonight's big splash

Douglas & Melissa at the top of Magical Mystery Tour
The top of Melissa's second route of the day
The penultimate pitch on beautiful rock
Douglas coming over the brow
 Mid route selfie
Looking back at the rather dramatic belay
Melissa waiting for her brother to do the first easy, traversing pitch.
Melissa doing her party trick, assisted by Douglas. Melissa insists that her mum will appreciate this photo
Douglas descending in to the start of the route. Many sea cliff climbs are reached by abseiling to the start. These ladders were incredible!
 Callum practising his moves
Douglas teetering across the first tricky moves. The rock here is superb and looked like dragon scales.
