Full fat sunshine day, Costa Blanca

We headed to Echo Valley today, just 30 minutes from The Orange House. Dom, Douglas, Euan & Callum climbed with Richard at Echo 1.5, a true roadside crag in the most spectacular of situations.
Andrew, Melissa & I climbed two multipitch routes, the first taking the far arete of the crag. The skyline, beneath those puffs of clouds, is the Bernia Ridge  - an absolute classic of the area.
Melissa skirting another tree. We wished we could leap in to this reservoir all day!

The top for the second time

We could see the other team from here - halfway along the highest of the zags of road.
If you look really carefully you can see Richard's yellow jacket
